[[Problem Solved]] "Windows could not complete the installation. To install Windows on this computer, restart the installation."

Last night, I was busy in installing windows 7 in laptop, But i was completely annoyed by getting error "Windows could not complete the installation. To install Windows on this computer, restart the installation." at very last stage of Windows Installation.



I searched a lot to solve this problem, and found a reasonable solution. I am sharing this solution with you so that you can get rid of this problem.

Note :: First Try Solution 1 , If not successful then try Solution 2


Solution 1
When prompted with error screen and unable to complete installation:

1. Hit SHIFT + F10 to bring up command prompt.

2. Type MMC in cmd.

3. Click on  File, then select Add/Remove Snap-in (Or press CTRL+M)
4. Select Computer Management (Double click) under Available Snap Ins tab and select Local Computer then     finish.
5. Click OK
6. Double click Computer Management (Local) -> System Tools -> Local Users and Groups -> Users ->  Double Click Administrator -> Uncheck Account is disabled -> OK
7. Now right click Administrator -> Set Password  ->  Set a password.
8. Restart.

Solution 2  (Try when solution 1 not worked)

1. Hit SHIFT + F10 to bring up command prompt.
2. type             CD oobe
3. enter
4. type             msoobe
5.enter
6. Make a generic account and password.  hit finish (if it requests a product key and you have one, enter it now.  if OEM/No key required, just finish).  Set time/date.  Finish.
7. Restart.
